Chocolate workshop

Chalet du chocolat

Tel : +33 (0)4 50 37 67 43 ou + 33 (0)6 84 34 36 75

336, rue du Centre

This delicious workshop dedicated to chocolate gathers together sweet tooths of all ages. After donning chef’s hats, aprons and gloves, the apprentice chocolate-makers cut the biscuits, chop up the walnuts, raisins and pistachios, and stir the chocolaty mixture while the dark chocolate (70% cacao) is kept warm in a bain-marie. After shaping and coating, the participants obtain a mouth-watering «sausage» of chocolate, which they take away to enjoy after the class.

Isabelle, the workshop leader and a master chocolate maker, is an inexhaustible source of creativity who loves to share her passion for the «beautiful and delicious». She never ceases to train under the greatest chocolate talents, to afterwards distil her savoir-faire in her boutique, where you’ll also fi nd all sorts of mountaininspired delights.

Every Thursday at 2 PM. Duration: 1 hour.

Art Inspired by the Cold

Inspired by her experience in Canada, Evelyne Scmitt offers workshops where she invites visitors to paint scenes inspired by the cold on earthenware and wood. Her subjects call upon their creativity (or carbon copy designs for those lacking creativity!) to paint mugs, plates, cups..., before they go into the oven. Her primary audience is children, but adults are equally welcome.
