Art Inspired by the Cold

Inspired by her experience in Canada, Evelyne Scmitt offers workshops where she invites visitors to paint scenes inspired by the cold on earthenware and wood. Her subjects call upon their creativity (or carbon copy designs for those lacking creativity!) to paint mugs, plates, cups..., before they go into the oven. Her primary audience is children, but adults are equally welcome.

All along the “Gentiane” slope, from the arrival point of the Chavannes cablecar, the purple Milka slope offers a fun, educational route to initiate skiers to the alpine environment. Life-size fibre animals and displays provide visual information about animal and plant life for children.
