From the 8th to 28th December 2007, come and live the magic of a family Christmas in Father Christmas’ world. In the middle of the enchanted forest in Les Gets, he has set up home in his cabin, where he will live in harmony with the pixies, gnomes and other forest elves. For a couple of weeks, big and small children are invited into the royal kingdom to discover a magical circuit spiced with anecdotes and sprinkled with surprises…
Every Wednesday at 10.30 a.m. - The visit lasts an hour. Themes include : traditional village life, customs and vegetation.This visit is free and the meeting point is at the Maison des Gets.

This fabulous dog-sledge race will see the world’s best mushers (dog-sledge drivers) facing each other in the heart of the Portes du Soleil. A long distance race in the style of the legendary Yukon Quest and Iditarod. Next race January 2008

Mechanical musical instrument unique in Europe, classified as a historic monument.
This automatic philharmonic organ with its 1000 pipes (violins, flutes, human voices, etc.), carillon bell and metallophone, has been in restoration for four years. Come and appreciate its sound on “Organ Tuesdays” at 6pm.

The «Fruitière» is the place where milk is turned into cheese, where the fruit of the milk is collected, hence the word «fruitière». Every day Reblochon, Tomme, butter, yogurts and Abondance cheese are produced. Every Wednesday at 8.30 a.m. free guided tour to see the cheese being made.
