A family mountain lake
The Swimming lake des Écoles is one of Les Gets’ best-known spots, a playground par excellence for families. This leisure area has all the ingredients for a dream day out in nature: large grassy beach, self-service barbecue, slide, wibit park (inflatable games on water), multi-sports and beach volleyball courts, pump-track, fitness modules, ping-pong tables, recreational play areas…
Your children will be able to play safely in the water, as part of the lake is supervised by lifeguards, while you can relax on the large grassy beaches surrounding the lake.
Plus: a giant slide to keep the kids happy!
This lake was inaugurated on 29 July 1995 by the French Minister of Youth and Sports (Mr Guy Drut).
Dates and opening hours 2025
The swimming lake will be open from Saturday 28 June to Sunday 31 August 2025, every day from 12pm to 6.30pm.
Wibit water park
At the Lac des Ecoles, you can also enjoy the Wibit water park: a fun and friendly moment for children and adults alike!
The Splashpad
This summer, the leisure centre at the Lac des Ecoles has a new recreational facility. Equipped with various modules, water jets and other refreshing elements, this water fun park is sure to keep the youngest amused and splashing around for hours…
