Mechanical music and drawing for 2025

The Museum of Mechanical Music is a unique collection of over 900 musical instruments: carillons, automatons, clocks, music boxes, orchestrions, mechanical pianos, and many other unusual pieces. It is the result of the work of a team of enthusiasts who welcome you throughout the year to introduce you to the enchanting world of Mechanical Music.

This year, the Mechanical Music Association will celebrate its 40th anniversary, and for the occasion, you’ll be able to discover all the new surprises centered around the 2025 theme: Mechanical Music and Drawing. For the occasion, you’ll be able to experience the release of the first comic book on Mechanical Music, the result of two years of work with author, illustrator, and mountaineer Félix Meynet. Another highlight is the presentation of Pablo Picasso’s fully restored Mechanical Piano, which will be on display at the museum, along with a letter from his daughter Maya.

This is also an opportunity for us to present two of the year’s highlights, which will showcase the Mechanical Music Museum, a mecca of Gêtois culture!

Museum Celebration – July 19 and 20

Another highlight: The Museum of Mechanical Music invites you to participate in the 7th edition of the “Museum Celebration”! Continuing with the theme of “Mechanical Music and Drawing,” enjoy a weekend of numerous demonstrations, activities, and performances, including exhibitions, shows, tours, and, for the occasion, Pablo Picasso’s Mechanical Piano!

See you on July 19 and 20, 2025, to experience an unforgettable experience to the sound of mechanical musical instruments!
