Meet ACM Immobilier

Can you tell us about your agency, its spirit and its DNA ?

ACM Immobilier is a family business that was founded in 1995. We are a family-run business that currently consists of three people. I am Thomas Mudry, the director of ACM Immobilier. Our team also includes Deborah, who handles transactions, and Anne, who is in charge of rentals. We are a small company whose main activities are property transactions, property valuations and holiday rentals.

In your opinion, which services and facilities in a property will be most appreciated by your clients during their holidays in Les Gets?

In my opinion, holidaymakers will first be interested in the location: the resort centre is a prime location due to its proximity to shops, ski schools, slopes and ski lifts. It is therefore important to have accommodation available in these areas. To go into more detail about the properties, today we have a demanding clientele with a certain level of purchasing power, looking for rather ‘high-end’ properties with a certain interior design, but also a comfortable size. We have a lot of searches for two-bedroom properties that can comfortably accommodate four to six people. Aesthetically, we see a real attraction among our clients for modern and cosy interiors. Today, customers want to feel at home on holiday, particularly in terms of amenities (Wi-Fi, dishwasher, washing machine). In addition to the amenities in the property, we also attach great importance to the quality of the services provided. During their stay in Les Gets, holidaymakers may not want to have to deal with a whole host of arrangements, which is why at ACM Immobilier we make sure we offer a range of services that may be of interest to them, such as booking ski lessons, hiring ski equipment, hiring bikes, providing household linen, putting them in touch with private chefs, and so on. Our priority is to make our clients feel comfortable and to provide them with the best possible guidance on all types of requests to ensure that their stay is a success.

Have you noticed any changes in the way holidaymakers book their stays (length, type of accommodation, etc.)?

Yes, I have noticed a change in the way people ‘consume’, particularly among younger holidaymakers. We obviously have our regular customers in Les Gets and those who come back week after week, but we also have customers who come for short stays, mainly in the summer. (Short stays and multiple destinations throughout the year).

Do you have any advice for your customers on choosing the ideal accommodation for their skiing holiday?

Nowadays, most of our customers book online, so it’s important to have a user-friendly and comprehensive website that provides as much information as possible. We therefore ensure that our content is very comprehensive and answers all our customers’ questions to make it as easy as possible for them to find the accommodation that best meets their criteria. As every customer is different, we try to get to know them properly so that we can give them the best possible advice.

What is your favourite place in the resort?

I would like to mention two places! The resort centre is an ideal location, with modern and comfortable accommodation. It is quite ideal for families. Children taking ski lessons are right next to the snow front, and there is easy access to all amenities in this area. The warm and lively atmosphere of the resort centre is an unforgettable aspect of the resort during your stay, guaranteeing a great holiday.

That said, I also love the chalets located in the hills above Les Gets, where you can enjoy nature, the views and the peace and quiet, offering a real chance to recharge your batteries.

Meet La Centrale Real Estate Agency

Can you introduce yourself, the agency, its DNA and its spirit?

Pleased to meet you, I’m Charlotte Le Port. I’ve been working at La Centrale for almost seven years now, having joined in 2019. The agency itself has been around since the 1990s. I am now associate director with Julie Coppel at La Centrale. The agency itself is a local agency, focused on friendliness.

How do you assist your clients in finding accommodation for a skiing holiday?

In terms of client relations, we obviously have several ways of interacting with our clients: we use email marketing, we are active on most platforms so we can interact with our clients, and we still receive a lot of enquiries by telephone, which allows us to provide our clients with the best possible support and make them an offer that closely matches their criteria and expectations. We also sometimes receive requests to view properties when clients are in the resort prior to renting, so they can confirm their booking.

In your opinion, how does Les Gets stand out from the other resorts in the Portes du Soleil?

Les Gets stands out because of its village atmosphere, which is something we talk about a lot with our customers, as Les Gets is a resort that is open all year round. Our customers often mention the family-friendly aspect of the resort, with facilities and activities designed for children, but not only. There is something for everyone in Les Gets, whether you are a family, a group of friends or a couple on holiday.

What would you consider to be the key features of accommodation for a successful skiing holiday?

For a successful holiday, practical accommodation is essential. It’s 2025, and Wi-Fi and other such amenities are very important, especially for people who plan to work remotely during their stay in Les Gets. All the amenities are also essential, and if we can add a modern touch, so much the better. People prefer to have a little less space in their accommodation but real comfort where they feel at home.

What advice would you give to customers looking for accommodation for their skiing holiday?

It all depends on the criteria that clients may have, but we are quite attentive to the criterion of location. Our clients are not familiar with the resort, so we make sure to advise them as best we can on the location that will best meet their wishes for their skiing holiday.

Meet Agence Olivier

Can you briefly describe the agency, its DNA and its spirit?

Founded in 1952, Agence Olivier has offices in Les Gets and Morzine. We offer seasonal rentals, property transactions and co-ownership management services. We have around 70 properties available for rent, managed by a team of eight employees. As a deeply local agency, we favour partnerships with local tradespeople and make it a point of honour to maintain a close relationship with our clients.

What advice would you give to holidaymakers looking for accommodation for their stay in Les Gets?

If we had to give one piece of advice, it would be to plan their trip as far in advance as possible so that we can guide them towards the most suitable property. In summer, many properties are already open for booking for the following winter season.

We have a wide variety of flats and chalets, covering all price ranges and amenities. We make sure to offer a diverse range of properties, whether newly renovated or older, but always perfectly maintained. Our priority is for holidaymakers to enjoy their stay to the fullest without having to worry about anything.

How do you assist your customers in choosing and booking their rental?

Most of our customers book directly through our website, but many still prefer to contact us by telephone. We then endeavour to gather as much information as possible about their essential criteria — location, budget, desired amenities, etc. — in order to offer them the most suitable solution and guarantee them a successful stay.

Have you noticed any changes in rental trends in Les Gets?

In recent years, bookings have tended to be made earlier, which bodes well for a great season. We have also seen an increase in shorter stays, often booked at the last minute.
