This winter, the ESF is participating again.
Opening time
From 11/02 to 04/03/2026 on Wednesday between 6.15 pm and 7 pm.
Every Wednesday during the February school holidays, at nightfall, we offer holidaymakers and locals a unique event through a charity torchlight descent open to all (minimum 2 star required).
The goal? To raise as much money as possible for the Enfance et Montagne association, which allows children who are not fortunate enough to be able to go on vacation to discover our magnificent mountains and their benefits.
Practical Information
Meet on February 11th, 25th, and March 4th before 6:15 p.m. at the top of the Boule de Gomme slope (take the ski lift) - other dates to be announced.
Torches are on sale at the ESF and the Tourist Office for €7, with €6 going to the Enfance et Montagne fund.
The descent starts at 6:40 p.m. For those who wish to participate, meet at the top of the Boule de Gomme ski lift before 6:15 p.m., the last possible ascent.
You can purchase torches and stay down below to light the Snow Front ablaze.

📍 Appointment on 12, 20, 26 February and 05 March at 17:50 at the top of the Boule de Gomme slope (take the ski lift).
💰 Torches on sale at the ESF and the Office du Tourisme for 7€.
🔥 Opportunity to buy torches and stay down to set fire to the Front de Neige.
⭐️ 2nd star minimum required to participate
