With more than 9,500 Year 5 and Year 6 classes registered in France in 2025-2026 and in French schools abroad (members of the AEFE), the game Les Petits champions de la lecture (Little Reading Champions) is giving more than 220,000 pupils around the world a taste for reading! It is an incredible collective adventure that brings together young readers from here and elsewhere in a fun experience that is accessible to all.
Each child will have a maximum of three minutes to convince the jury by reading aloud a text of their choice.
The aim is to make reading fun and to develop the pupils' self-confidence, camaraderie and open-mindedness.
The final will take place on Wednesday 11 March at 2.30 pm in the Salle de la Colombière, Les Gets (18 finalists will be present, along with 5 members of the jury). The event is open to the public and free of charge.
