Can you describe the agency in a few words? Its spirit/DNA?
Immo’Select is a family-run agency managed by Angèle and Patrick Pernollet. It focuses on three complementary activities: sales, rentals and concierge services.
Immo’Select offers a wide range of services, from the sale of new and old properties to holiday rentals by the week or season, as well as tailor-made services to help organise your stay. We also supervise building work and put you in touch with trusted local tradespeople.
Our slogan, ‘service tailored to your needs’, is much more than just a tagline: it is a true guiding principle. We support each of our clients in their life or holiday projects, combining proximity, rigour and in-depth expertise of the local market in Les Gets.
Our ambition is simple: to offer our clients the best possible experience, whether in the purchase, sale, rental or management of their property.
In your opinion, what are the key features that holidaymakers look for in accommodation for their skiing holiday?
Our agency’s clients place particular importance on location and quality of services. The majority of rental requests are concentrated in the heart of the resort, which is a determining factor in the choice of accommodation.
Our clients are looking for a certain level of luxury: this does not necessarily mean new properties, but modern, well-maintained accommodation with all the amenities needed to ensure a comfortable stay.
The geographical location of the property remains the primary selection criterion for our clientele, followed by value for money.
How do you assist your clients in finding rental properties for their skiing holiday?
When our clients contact us, we begin by analysing the dates of their stay to determine whether it falls during or outside of school holidays. We also take into account the composition of the family or group (presence of children, number of people, etc.), which allows us to offer accommodation that is perfectly suited to their needs. For large families or groups, we generally favour chalets, sometimes slightly away from the village centre, but often offering direct access to the slopes.
We also assist our clients with all the arrangements for their stay: booking ski passes, ski lessons, transfers between the airport and the resort, and much more. Our aim is to offer a comprehensive, high-end service to ensure that every stay is a real success.
In your opinion, how does Les Gets differ from the other resorts in the Portes du Soleil?
Les Gets stands out because it is a village resort with ski-in/ski-out access. Families can go skiing while grandparents watch their grandchildren ski down the slopes from the snow front. Here, there is no need to take a cable car to access the ski area; you can ski straight from the village. We are also a resort close to Geneva, so many of our customers are Swiss and international. The setting remains authentic, making it a favourite destination for families who are tempted to return.

Meet Anthonioz Estate Agents
Can you briefly describe the agency, its DNA and its spirit?
“I joined Anthonioz Estate Agents straight after leaving school, where I worked for many years alongside Alain Anthonioz, an iconic figure in the village’s property sector. I took over the management of the agency in 2004, 21 years ago now.
The Anthonioz agency stands out for its loyal, family-oriented clientele, who trust us and come back year after year.”
How do you assist your holiday-maker clients in finding a rental property for their stay?
“We mainly assist our clients by telephone. The website allows them to view images of the properties, but human interaction remains at the heart of our approach. Telephone conversations allow us to build a close relationship and understand their expectations precisely.
We do our utmost to tailor our offer so that the holiday perfectly matches their needs. We also work a lot with the principle of pre-options: during their stay, some clients already book for the following seasons, which greatly contributes to customer loyalty.”
Have you noticed any changes in the way your customers search for rental properties (criteria, booking platforms, etc.)?
“Customers are now more demanding and have more specific requirements. For example, Wi-Fi has become an essential criterion, particularly for city dwellers staying in the mountains. We therefore make sure to equip properties that do not have it, whenever possible.
We also systematically include bed linen and towels for large properties with more than four rooms, placing them directly in the flats.
As for booking methods, there is now a split: around half of our customers book by telephone, while the other half book online. However, even after booking online, customers almost always contact the agency by telephone, which confirms the importance of human contact.”
What advice would you give to a client for a successful stay in Les Gets?
“The advice depends above all on each client’s expectations. Some are looking for south-facing accommodation in a quiet location with panoramic views, while others prefer to be close to the Front de Neige and the village amenities.
The best advice I can give is to call us and explain exactly what they want and what their essential criteria are. Thanks to our in-depth knowledge of the accommodation available, we can then offer them the property that best meets their expectations.”
