A ski-in ski-out village resort, ideal for learning to ski in complete peace of mind
Les Gets is an ideal village resort for beginners. Everything you need to get started skiing is right there when you arrive at the resort. The hire shops in the heart of the village will kit you out with the best equipment for your level of skiing. The ski schools, located on the snow front, are right next to the first ski lifts.
Once you’re kitted out, all you have to do is put on your skis and take your first turns. The gentle, accessible slopes of Les Gets are directly linked to the village and offer a reassuring and progressive environment for learning to ski at your own pace.

The Mappys Area
An ideal area for all beginners, where learning takes place in complete safety. Equipped with two magic carpets, a rope tow and a cable lift, the Espace des Mappys offers four gentle slopes. It is the perfect place to take your first steps and gain confidence before exploring the rest of the ski area.
The Grand Cry Territory
Immerse yourself in a fun and immersive skiing area, designed for skiing and snowboarding while having fun. Everything is in place to delight children and adults alike:
• The Indian trail, designed in the heart of the forest, with bumps and banked turns.
• The Trappers’ Refuge, with Indian teepees, a picnic room, face painting workshops and entertainment.
• The Video Totem, where you can film yourself performing the snow dance.
• A colouring and games room for creative and fun activities.

A week dedicated to adult beginners
From 21 to 28 March, the 1st Ski Festival is coming to Les Gets for its very first edition. A unique week specially designed for adult beginners in skiing or snowboarding. Here, there is no competition or pressure: just a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where the desire to progress and enjoy the mountains are the watchwords.
Learning by day, festive atmosphere by night
Each day unfolds at its own pace, with lessons supervised by ESF professionals, so you can learn with confidence. Off the slopes, the programme is punctuated by numerous group activities: four-season tobogganing, ice skating sessions, and festive après-ski evenings with concerts, DJ sets and the immersive Alta Lumina experience. The perfect opportunity to share convivial moments after your efforts.
An all-inclusive package
Learning, partying, exploring, marvelling… skiing takes energy! That’s why the festival offers a ‘Ready to Ski’ package for only €399.00 for a week of all-inclusive skiing (excluding accommodation). It includes ski or snowboard lessons, a 6-day pass for the Les Gets–Morzine ski area, equipment (skis or snowboard with helmet), as well as all the entertainment and activities planned throughout the week.
