Every year at the end of the year, the resort lives to the rhythm of Father Christmas with this magical event.

As the Christmas holidays get under way in Les Gets, elves have set up in funny little houses all over the village centre. All these elves help Father Christmas with the final preparations for his round from these little chalets. One receives the mail, another repairs the sleigh and yet another wraps the presents.

Used to being all together in the centre of the village, this year they’ve spread out to offer visitors a new way of discovering their world and trying to meet Father Christmas. This year, it’s no longer a simple stroll that awaits visitors, but a treasure hunt full of questions to answer to be able to find Father Christmas. ☃️

As you may have guessed, Father Christmas will be living in the centre of Les Gets this year. There will be six huts in the village centre, plus Father Christmas’ house on the Place de la Maison des Gets. This year’s event is completely free and open to the public, and you can pick up your booklet at the Tourist Office reception desk before setting off in search of Father Christmas.

🎅 Activities and meetings with the elves will take place at the following times:

Saturday 23 December:
10.30am – 12.00pm
1.30pm – 3pm
3.30pm – 5pm
5.30pm – 7pm

Sunday 24 December:

1pm – 2.30pm

Christmas Eve, 24 December:

Pèere Noël Les Gets

Come and see this amazing show devoted to every aspect of winter sports.

The ESF ski instructors of Les Gets, along with the men and women who work at the resort, are delighted to present the Red Ski Show, an extravaganza devoted to winter sports in every form!

On one evening every week during the February school holidays, you’ll be awestruck by this show devoted entirely to winter sports: presentation of different disciplines in a spectacle of sound and light, piste-grooming and rescue demonstrations for a behind-the-scenes look at the work of the the ski patrol. And to round it all off, a torchlight descent and a huge fireworks display to close the event.

🔥 See you on Monday:

19 February 2024 at 6.45pm
26 February 2024 at 19.00pm
04 March 2024 at 19.00pm

On Thursday 15 February 2024, as night falls, the French mountains will be mobilising to bring you an exceptional event! On the same evening, all the French Ski Schools (ESF) are joining forces to organise simultaneous charity torchlight descents in French resorts, in partnership with the Association Nationale des Maires des Stations de Montagne and Domaines Skiables de France.

Our goal? To raise as much money as possible for charity programmes that enable children who are not fortunate enough to be able to go on holiday to discover our magnificent mountains and their benefits. All profits will be donated to 3 associations: Enfance et Montagne, Génération Montagne and Petits Princes through the “Famille Plus, la montagne solidaire” operation.

For each torch purchased, the Les Gets (Sagets) ski area will contribute the same amount to the overall fund raised for solidarity programmes.
