Opening time

Friday 31 October 2025 between 2.30 pm and 7 pm.

To close the season, the museum is holding an open afternoon on 31 October from 2.30 pm to 7 pm.
The programme includes a guided tour at 3 pm, featuring the latest acquisitions, including Pablo Picasso's Mechanical Piano
At 5:00 p.m.: Lecture on the incredible journey in the mid-18th century of Jaquet-Droz (watchmaker and creator of automata) from the Swiss Jura to the court of the King of Spain
6:20 p.m.: Presentation of the first comic book on mechanical music: ‘Ballade Mécanique aux Gets’
And finally, at 6.30pm, a musical aperitif hosted by Laure Pauthex with her barrel organ and music box.
And the 52-key Limonaire Jazzbandophone, a unique instrument, will play the 40th anniversary anthem

From 2.30pm: Welcome with coffee or fruit juice to the sound of a flamenco tune played on the organ, Reception Hall

3pm: Guided tour highlighting Spain and presenting some of the latest acquisitions.

4:15 p.m.: Presentation of Pablo Picasso's Mechanical Piano, Cabaret Room

4:30 p.m.: Closing of the exhibition on ‘Drawing,’ Imperial Gallery

5:00 p.m.: Lecture on the incredible journey in the mid-18th century of Jaquet-Droz (watchmaker and creator of automata) from the Swiss Jura to the Court of the King of Spain, Museum Cinema Room

6:00 p.m.: Films recounting the year and the ‘Musée en Fête 2025’ festival, Museum Cinema Room

6:20 p.m.: Presentation of the first comic book on mechanical music, from its conception to its publication: ‘Ballade Mécanique aux Gets’, Imperial Gallery

6:30 p.m.: Musical aperitif and social gathering around the instruments of the Guinguette, hosted by Laure Pauthex with her barrel organ and music box. Finally, the 52-key Limonaire Jazzbandophone, a unique instrument, will play the 40th anniversary anthem.
