The Game Over Festival: Winter Edition is a ski-in/ski-out mountain event dedicated to virtual worlds, video games and pop culture. 👾
Immerse yourself in a fantastic world where your favourite video game characters are king, experience virtual reality, and break records at the wheel of our professional car simulator.
Enjoy a host of pop culture activities (geek quiz, blindtest, cosplay photocall, etc.) and take part in e-sport tournaments on the big screen.
Share a convivial moment after skiing in front of one of our 70 video games in freeplay, but also in an exceptional retro-gaming area.
Finally, a number of exhibitors (illustrators, designers, artists, etc.) from all over France invite you to discover their world all weekend long.
Come and experience the very first winter edition of the GOF in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, a Franco-Swiss ski area with over 600 kilometres of pistes.

This competition brings together about fifteen forestry tractors driven by experienced drivers, to navigate a technical and timed course, the objective being to score the fewest penalties in the shortest time over two rounds. Taking place every two years in Les Gets, Haute-Savoie, the competition brings together a large number of forestry professionals and enthusiasts from all over France and neighbouring countries. 🚜🌲
This weekend also provides an opportunity to discover or rediscover all the equipment used for forestry operations, thanks to a forestry fair with some fifty exhibitors, including the world’s leading skidder manufacturers. There will also be several demonstrations to complete the programme. The Concours de Débardage Mécanisé de France is now an unmissable event in the forestry world, where atmosphere and conviviality are the key words! 🚜

From 7 to 17 September 2023, the resorts of Les Gets, Morzine and Châtel will host the biggest mountain bike event of the season, bringing together all mountain bike formats for the first time in the history of the Mountain Bike World Cup. This major sporting event will attract the best mountain bike riders from around the world to compete.

See you from 24 to 28 August 2022 in Les Gets to live the most exciting event on the mountain bike planet: the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships !
Eighteen years after the 2004 UCI MTB World Championships, Les Gets, in co-organization with the French Cycling Federation, will host the UCI MTB World Championshipsfrom 24 to 28 August 2022.
5 events are on the program for this week of competitions:
The XCO / XCR: the Olympic Cross-Country and Cross-Country Relay, flagship disciplines of mountain biking.
The XCC: the “Short Track”, the short format of the XCO, which offers a committed race conducive to great confrontations.
The DHI or Downhill Individual: a fast, technical and spectacular downhill race… Thrills and emotions guaranteed!
The E-MTB: since 2019, the E-MTB has been integrated into the MTB World Championships program. With a physical and demanding course, the riders will have to combine their technical skills with their assistances in order to succeed!
🚨 During the World Championships, the Bikepark remains open, except for the Mont Chéry sector and the four-cross. A deviation will be set up to go back down to the village. 🚨
