🅿️ Where can I park?

Visitor car parks

Parking des Perrières and Parking des Plans: Public parking lots at Les Perrières (TANINGES entrance). Public toilets and showers nearby (Les Perrières chairlift).

Camper van parking:

  • The Camper van parking area is located in Gibannaz, towards Lac des Écoles.
  • Free parking
  • Water supply and showers nearby
  • Toilets
  • No waste water disposal
🚌 Getting around

To ensure that this event runs smoothly, traffic and parking restrictions will be in place from Sunday, August 24 to Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Parking will be prohibited in the following car parks:

  • La Colombière car park
  • Pressenage car park,
  • Pic car park,
  • Marcelly car park,
  • Marais car park (Place du Marché),
  • Place de la Mairie and ice rink,
  • Communal car park at Maison Forestière/Manoir at 86 route des Chavannes,
  • Car parks on both sides of the War Memorial,
  • Carry car parks, Maison des Gets car park and Stade car park,
  • Parking lot in front of the “la Résidence” condominium,
  • Parking lot on Rue de la Forge,
  • Parking lot at Les P’teaux,
  • On Rue de L’Ancienne Fruitière and Chemin de Carry on both sides of the street,
  • On VC No. 2 from the Colombière roundabout to the intersection with Rue de I’ Ancienne Fruitière,
  • La Turche car park.
  • Traffic restrictions will be in place on the following streets and roads.
  • Route du Front de Neige, from the intersection with Rue des Pistes to the junction with Chemin de Carry,
  • Chemin de Carry,
  • Rue du Centre from the Colombière junction to the intersection with Rue des Pistes.
  • VC known as Marcelly-pressenage,
  • Rue du Vieux Village, from the intersection with Chemin de Carry to the intersection with Route des Grandes Alpes,
  • Rue de l’Ancienne Fruitière,
  • Route des Granges

Some traffic and parking restrictions will be in place on the following streets and thoroughfares:

  • Route du Front de Neige, from the crossroads with the slops road and chemin de Carry
  • Chemin de Carry,
  • Rue du Centre from the Colombière crossroads to the intersection with rue des pistes.
  • VC du Marcelly-pressenage,
  • Rue du Vieux Village, from the crossroads with Chemin de Carry to the intersection with Route des Grandes Alpes,
  • Rue de l’Ancienne Fruitière,
  • Route des Granges

Route des Métrallins for residents

As part of the downhill events, Route des Métrallins will be closed to traffic from Thursday, August 28 at 8:00 a.m. to Saturday, August 30 at 6:00 p.m., except for residents.

To drive on this road during this period, you must present a traffic pass during checks.

Les Gets Bus

From Monday, August 25 to Thursday, August 28, 2025

Road closures will result in a change of route for shuttle buses F and G, with disrupted schedules. We recommend using the PYSAE app to locate the shuttle buses.
During this period, the TC Chéry stop will be moved to the bus station.

From Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31, 2025

A special service will be provided between the Perrières spectator parking lot and the village center:

  • Perrières Parking Lot Stop ↔ Bus Station.
  • From 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Runs approximately every 10 minutes.

Little Train From August 24 to 27 inclusive, the miniature train will run a shuttle service to the leisure center in the mornings and afternoons.
It will not run from Thursday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30 due to traffic difficulties in the village.

Getslib’

The GETSLIB’ station on Place du Marché will be closed from Sunday, August 24 to Monday, September 1 inclusive.

The electric bike rental service will remain available throughout the event.

Balad’Aulps Bus

Lines 1 and 2 of the Balad’Aulps Bus will continue to run to Les Gets during the event.

Due to high demand on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st, the Balad’Aulps terminus will be at the entrance to the village at the Colombière roundabout.

The Pressenage, Cabinet médical and Parking les Perrières stops will not be served on these two days.

NB: this Haut-Chablais inter-municipal service will end on the evening of Sunday 31 August 2025.

Taxi Alpi Motion

The Alpi Motion taxi company is offering its services for the World Cup: approximately every 20 minutes between Taninges and Les Perrières from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 August at a price of €5. Departure in front of the Taninges Tourist Office. 8 people per trip.

First departure from Taninges at 8 a.m.
Last departure from Les Gets at 6.30 p.m.

The resort of Les Gets is easily accessible. It is 55 km from Geneva international airport (1h15 drive), 25 km from the A40 motorway and 22 km from Cluses railway station. This makes it very easy to get to and from the resort, in complete safety.

Direct operation of the Franco-Swiss routes from Geneva airport no longer exists.

Via Thonon :

– Geneva Cointrin Airport > Geneva Cornavin train station (5 trains per hour)
– At Cornavin station, take Line T71 or the Léman Express (see timetables) to Thonon.
– In Thonon, take Line Y91 to Les Gets.

Via Cluses :

– Geneva Cointrin Airport > Geneva Cornavin train station (5 trains per hour)

Le Mont Chéry (DHI Slope)

Thursday 28 and Friday 29 August

The Mont-Chéry cable car will be accessible from 7.15 a.m. for staff, volunteers and competitors, and from 8 a.m. for people who already have a valid ticket. The Chéry ticket offices will open at 9 a.m. The cable car will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Saturday 30 August

The Mont-Chéry cable car will be accessible from 7.15am for staff, volunteers and competitors and from 8am for those who already have a valid ticket. The Chéry ticket offices will open at 8.15am. The cable car will be open to the public from 8.15am to 5.30pm.

SPECIAL WORLD CUP 2025: An information point will be located at the gondola lift arrival point. Open to pedestrians only.

⚠️ The Mont-Chéry gondola lift is closed to mountain bikes from Sunday, 24 August at 5:30 p.m. until the end of the season.

Discover the biggest Bikepark of Europe

Les Gets Bikepark is a major, world-famous mountain biking site. Suited to mountain bikers of all levels, the bikepark is constantly being developed. It is a magnificent playground for all disciplines including downhill mountain biking (DHI), cross-country (XCO), freestyle, freeride and electric mountain biking.

Enjoy the 128 km of marked trails at Les Gets Bikepark classified according to a colour chart: green, blue, red, black, and black and white checkerboard for the most difficult trails.

Municipal market

Due to the organisation of the UCI MTB World Cup, the Les Gets municipal market has been moved to the Les Perrières car park on Thursday 28 August from 8.00am to 12.30pm.
