Traffic

SATURDAY 07/20/2024
The traffic will be prohibited from 3.40pm to 7pm on the Front de neige road. 8.GRANGE NEUVE and 9.TC CHAVANNES stops will be deleted and the hours for the reste will be disrupt.

SUNDAY 21/07/2024
The traffic will be prohibited on the Vieux Village. Shuttles and litlle train will be diverted and hours disrupted.

Settlement

All participants acknowledge that they have read the present regulations and accept all their clauses. They undertake on their honour not to anticipate the start and to cover the full distance before crossing the finish line.

All participants undertake to comply with the safety measures in place before, during and after the race.

Reminder of compulsory documents to be presented before the race, via the registration site, or to be sent to trail@lesgets.com :

  • Presentation of a license issued by the FFA or another federation (list of accepted licenses available in the regulations).
  • Presentation of a certificate of absence of contraindication to the practice of sport, athletics or running in competition, dating from less than one year before the date of the competition.
  • For minors, presentation of parental authorization and completion of questionnaire.

No other documents will be accepted. Conditions of participation to be found in detail in the rules, Article 5.

Equipment

All participants acknowledge that they have read these rules, accept all their clauses. They commit not to anticipate the start and to cover the entire distance before crossing the finish line.

Each participant commits to comply with the safety measures in place before, during and after the race.

Compulsory equipment:
  • Water reserve of minimum 0.5L minimum,
  • Food reserves,
  • Survival blanket,
  • Whistle,
  • Windproof mountain jacket,
  • Mobile phone with the number of the organization and of the emergency services (these numbers will be given at the time of the number collection). The participant must be reachable at all times (before, during and after the race),
  • Visible bib on the chest:
Recommended equipment:
  • Waterproof jacket,
  • Gloves and hat in case of cold weather.

Sticks are allowed on the entire course.

You undertake to possess the required equipment and to present it at any requisition of the organisation during the entire event (start, finish, on the course).

Refreshments

The health regulations are changing and we will organize the refreshment points according to the latest information. The refreshments will be liquids and solid. They can be distributed individually when collecting the numbers and/or available on the course according to the health regulations of the moment.

Refreshments will also be offered to participants in the finish area.

Personal refreshments by a support team are not allowed in the official refreshment areas.

Insurance and cancellation

Insurance

Non-licensed runners are advised to take out individual accident insurance to cover any search and rescue costs in France. Such insurance can be taken out with any organizer of the competitor’s choice, and in particular with the French Athletics Federation.

Licence holders are covered by their own licence.

Cancellation by the organization

In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, for safety reasons and/or in case of force majeure, the organization reserves the right to modify the course, the time limits or to stop the race in progress.

If the race is cancelled due to force majeure or for reasons beyond the control of the organization, participants will be entitled to

  • Either the postponement of their registration for the Trail des Gets 2025,
  • Or a refund of their registration for the Trail des Gets 2024. Only the registration fee will not be refunded.
