Bikepark Les Gets the world capital of mountain biking in the heart of the Portes du Soleil

Land of Champions follow in the footsteps of the world's elite

If the Bikepark in Les Gets is internationally renowned, it’s because it’s the training ground and stage for the exploits of the world’s greatest riders.

As the historic host of UCI World Cups and World Championships (2004, 2022, soon to be 2027), the resort has seen some of the finest moments in downhill mountain biking.

If you ride here, you’ll be riding the same root sections and jumps as Loïc Bruni or Amaury Pierron. This demand for top-level performance permeates the whole of our resort: every bend is carefully thought out, every module calibrated to offer a ride worthy of the pros.

Elite Tracks

Chavannes sector Flow, jumps and shapely slopes

This is the richest and most varied side of the domain. Here, riding is synonymous with immediate pleasure and progress. The Chavannes side of the slope is the ideal sector for a series of runs and for perfecting your tricks!

Ride the iconic runs on the Chavannes sector, from the green run to the black run for the more experienced riders. The Tomahawk, the coaching track, the Canyon freeride, the Four Cross… and much more, are just some of the trails that will allow you to ride without limits!

Take advantage of the jump-park zone, a 3-hectare area dedicated to tricks, with jump lines ranging from green to black. Don’t forget to stop by the video park to immortalise your riding session in the Les Gets bike park.

From the Chavannes sector, take advantage of a direct link to the Morzine ski area, to extend your adventure in the heart of the Portes du Soleil.

Mont-Chéry sector Roots, Slope and Authenticity

There’s a change of scenery on the Mont Chéry side, where the terrain is wilder and more technical, with a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc. It’s on this side of the mountain that you’ll find the legendary black downhill track and the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup route, challenging routes for those who are not afraid of the slopes and like to read precise trajectories.

On the slopes of Mont Chéry, you’ll find 3 emblematic trails:

  • The Ellipse Airline by Oakley: An aerial line designed for spectacle and commitment. This is where you sign your most beautiful images or your most beautiful clips.
  • The DH Noire: Different from the World Cup route, this permanent track is a monument of the Bikepark. It’s tough, steep and technical, requiring you to be able to read the trajectory well.
  • The UCI Mountain Bike DH World Cup track: A track specifically designed for the international UCI Mountain Bike World Cup event. Riding the World Cup track means putting your wheels down where the greatest champions have triumphed on steep, technical and demanding terrain that is unforgiving. At the 2022 World Championships, Les Gets was the scene of a historic achievement, with the 100% French podium made up of Loïc Bruni, Amaury Pierron and Loris Vergier.

An estate sculpted by experts

Behind every bend is the work of our 8 Bike Patrols.

Every day, they water, shampoo and secure the tracks to guarantee you an unforgettable experience*.

FAQ BIKEPARK
  • What's the most accessible way to get started?

The “Les Ecureuils” green trail in the Chavannes sector is ideal for a first Bikepark experience. It’s wide, gentle and great fun. Ideal for beginners and families, it offers a taste of all the components of a downhill track: banked turns, root sections, bumps, undergrowth sections, etc.

  • Can I access the Bikepark with an electric mountain bike?

Yes, ski lifts accept ATVs. However, be careful on the DH runs where the speed of descent can be high and where the equipment must be adapted (protections…). Don’t hesitate to ask for advice from bike professionals in the resort and the ski area.

  • Where is Jump Park?

The main Jump Park is located in the Chavannes sector, easily accessible via the Express chairlift to Les Chavannes or Les Nauchets.

  • How can I find out about the state of the pistes in real time?

Check our “Live” page or the information boards at the start of the lifts to find out about openings and any shaping work.

  • How steep is the Tour des Portes du Soleil?

It’s an 80km route with around 1000m of ascent and 6000m of descent, using 15 ski lifts throughout the Portes du Soleil area. There are a multitude of alternatives available to you via the pistes or the signposted shared trails.
