The 1st Ski Festival is a new event taking place in Les Gets, designed to make the mountains accessible, fun, and relaxed. It’s aimed at all adult beginners, regardless of age, who want to discover skiing in a friendly and laid-back atmosphere.

The goal is simple: to offer a turnkey experience that combines ski learning with a festive vibe, all in a warm, modern, and community-oriented spirit.

Discover the Christmas market organised by the association of the old village of Les Gets. There’ll be lots of entertainment, stalls for making superb gifts, games and old village-style snacks.

Saturday: dance show, choir and fireworks
Sunday: homemade soup in aid of the Vieux Village association
On both days: giant chamboule tout in aid of the association

A wide range of stalls: chocolate shops, local beers, delicatessens, woodwork, beekeepers, home-made decorations and products, well-being, etc.

As for tasting, you’ll be able to meet the shopkeepers of the Vieux Village: Tartif, la Rmize, Sush’ski, Mémé confiture, Jeux trinque, Boucherie Bataller, Boulangerie du village, etc.

The world’s best DH and Cross-country riders will once again meet for a sporting weekend at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.
Like every year, you’ll find them competing in various categories. This summer Les Gets will be hosting the cross-country, cross-country short tracks and DHI (downhill) events.

The Cognées – Vintage Edition is a gathering of old forest tractors, with concerts, a refreshment stand and fast food… All in all, it’s a great way to spend a good time, Cognées-style!

11am – Parade of forestry tractors through the village of Les Gets (departure from Les Perrières)
2pm – Random demonstrations of mechanized skidding in a secure area, using vintage forestry tractors
7pm – “MACADAM FARMER” concert
8:30pm – “BIG BALLS” concert

PLEASE NOTE: Unlike the usual logging event, the Vintage Edition will not feature a forestry fair or equipment exhibitors.

The Museum celebrates Christmas in Les Gets with a magical afternoon of sparkling, poetic entertainment. The Museum’s instruments, the old Carrousel and our elves will provide a unique and festive experience that will sparkle in the eyes and delight the ears of children and parents alike. They’ll be wandering around with their amazing cart and barrel organ, complete with miles of songs!

3pm : Museum opening, free entry all afternoon. Demonstrations, games, …

4pm : Launch of the winter season of the wooden horse carousel and part of the Museum’s collection. The first rides will be given to children with the sound of the Limonaire.

4.30pm : “Games and lottery” at the merry-go-round, with ‘Carton compagnie’ and its cart full of surprises.

5pm : On the way to the Place Limonaire. Torchlight procession down the Rue du Vieux Village behind the musical and illuminated cart of ‘Carton compagnie’, with appearances of papillotes, magic powder and light bubbles.

5.30pm : Entertainment in the museum with ‘Les Lutins de Noël’, who will delight the guinguette and cabaret with their Christmas songs and stories, as well as elf jokes…

6pm : Opening of the ‘Drawing in Mechanical Music’ exhibition

6.20pm : Christmas gift-giving at the museum’s guinguette

6.30pm : Hot chocolate and mulled wine with music and songs by our elf and goblin

7pm : Fireworks with Cor des Alpes, Place Limonaire

8.30pm : Concert in the church with the Vallée d’Aulps choir and organ

At the dawn of this new year 2026, the resort will be adorned with a thousand lights and invites you to share a unique moment, between laughter, emotions, and memories to cherish. ✨

When the snow sparkles under the stars, we welcome young and old to come together to celebrate the magic of the New Year. After a wonderful day on the slopes at Les Gets, it’s time to party.
Children will light up the snow dancefloor, carried by music and enjoying a marshmallow party, while grown-ups can enjoy a hot chocolate or a glass of champagne at the foot of the slopes. 🥳

Sweet scents, children’s laughter, the warmth of hands that join… everything is gathered for a moment of authenticity and conviviality.
A Champagne and Champomy bar will also be at your disposal so we can all toast together to this new year full of promises and unforgettable moments. 🎊

At 6:00 PM, the fireworks countdown will begin, setting the mountain ablaze and illuminating the village. A magical spectacle that promises to leave a strong impression on both young and old. 🎇

Amid a stunning play of sound and light, discover different sliding techniques, admire grooming and rescue demonstrations, and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of those who take care of the slopes every day.

Then comes the most anticipated moment: the torchlight descent in red and gold — a symbol of sharing and tradition — followed by a fireworks display that sets the sky ablaze and lights up the eyes of both children and adults. 🎆

See you on Saturday, August 16 in the village of Les Gets for the first edition of the “Tête de Billes” festival: a new event combining laughter and festivities for young and old alike! Cancelled at the last minute a year ago due to bad weather, this event is jointly organized by the two Écoles Gêtoises, the Tourist Office, and the Association des Commerçants Gêtois.

Inspired by the former “Fête du Centre” festival in Les Gets from 1980 to 2000, which left unforgettable memories for many generations, this festival aims to bring together young and old, locals and vacationers for a day of sports and fun activities in the heart of the village.

Come and challenge yourself with family or friends on the 220m 💪 “Ninja Box” course, which will run along Rue du Centre with modules inspired by Ninja Warrior! Accessible from 3 years old!

From morning until nightfall, take part in a range of activities for the whole family: 🚴‍♂️ balance bike race, 🏃‍♂️ waiter race, 🚴‍♂️ electric balance bike, 🤡 roaming clowns, 😺 face painting, 🎼 musical awakening, 🧑‍🦱 all kinds of fairground-style activities and games for young and old… not to mention a refreshment/food area open all day on the Place de la Maison des Gets, and an evening concert to round off this wonderful day!
