2027 UCI Cycling World Championships Les Gets, the host village

From 26 August to 4 September 2027, the resort of Les Gets is proud to host the second edition of the UCI Cycling World Championships, the biggest event in the history of cycling.

As a host village, Les Gets will host the following disciplines: cross-country mountain biking (Olympic, short track, team relay, e-mountain bike cross-country) and downhill mountain biking.

The 2027 UCI Cyclist World Championships will take place in Haute-Savoie over a total of 13 days, with more than 20 disciplines taking place across 15 competition venues in a spectacular and historically significant setting, including our charming resort and village of Les Gets.

Five years later, the UCI World Championships back in Les Gets for the second edition

How about reliving the triumph of the 2022 UCI World Championships? How could we forget 2022, the year that marked the return of the Mountain Bike World Championships to France, eighteen years later? To top it all off, there was a truly historic event in Les Gets on Saturday 27 August 2022, where the French riders achieved an unprecedented one-two-three finish by taking all three podium places. Loïc Bruni (1st), alongside his teammates Amaury Pierron (2nd) and Loris Vergier (3rd), whilst Myriam Nicole took third place in the women’s race.

16 competition venues where you can experience the event the 2027 UCI World Cycling Championships

From the shores of Lake Annecy to the peaks of the Grand Massif, via the Portes du Soleil and the National Velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, the 2027 UCI World Cycling Championships will take place at some exceptional venues.

Spanning 16 venues, 15 of which are in Haute-Savoie, the 20 UCI World Championships will offer a unique spectacle against iconic backdrops.
