Traffic and parking regulationsUCI Mountain Bike World Cup 2026
To mark the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, and in order to ensure public safety, specific regulations will apply to the movement and parking of all vehicles.
Traffic regulations
Rue du Centre:
- Closed to traffic from 8.00 pm on 16 August to 6.00 pm on 24 August
- Closed to traffic from 8.00 am on 17 August to 6.00 pm on 24 August
- Closed to traffic from 12.00 on 19 August to 08.00 on 24 August
- One-way (downhill) from 8.00 am on 17 August to 8.00 am on 24 August
Route du Front de Neige:
- Road closed from 8.00 am on 19 August to 12.00 noon on 24 August
- Two-way traffic controlled by traffic lights from 17 August at 08:00 to 24 August at 08:00
Rue du Vieux Village:
- Closed to traffic from 17 August at 08:00 to 24 August at 08:00
- Two-way traffic controlled by traffic lights from 8.00 am on 17 August to 8.00 am on 24 August
Rue de l’Ancienne Fruitière:
- Closed to traffic from 12.00 on 17 August to 18.00 on 24 August
Rue de Pressenage and Chemin de Carry:
- Closed to traffic from 8.00 am on 17 August to 8.00 pm on 24 August
Rue des Pistes, Rue du Chêne (except for residents):
- Closed to traffic from 8.00 am on 19 August to 8.00 pm on 24 August
Route des Metrallins (except for residents: authorisation REQUIRED):
- Closed to traffic from 8.00 am on 20 August to 6.00 pm on 22 August
Route du Benevy:
- Traffic direction reversed from 19 August at 08:00 to 24 August at 12:00
Route des Pesses:
- One-way (downhill) from 17 August at 08:00 to 23 August at 20:00
Route des Granges:
- One-way (uphill) from 8.00 am on 22 August to 8.00 pm on 23 August
Parking regulations
No parking from 8.00 pm on 4 August to 8.00 pm on 8 August and from 8.00 pm on 24 August to 8.00 pm on 29 August:

No parking from 8.00 pm on 12 August to 8.00 pm on 13 August:

Transport and Mobilityat the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup
- From Monday 17 to Thursday 20 August 2026:
Traffic regulations and road closures will result in a change to the routes of shuttle buses F and G, with disrupted timetables. During this period, the TC Chéry stop will be moved to the coach station.
- From Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August 2026:
A special service will be provided between the Perrières spectator car park and the village centre.
Perrières car park stop ↔ Coach station.
From 7.00 am to 7.00 pm non-stop.
Buses run every 10 minutes, subject to traffic conditions.
Vehicles can be tracked via the Pysae app
Little train
The Little Train will not be running from Monday 17 to Sunday 23 August due to traffic problems in the village.
Shuttle bus between Les Gets and Morzine
The municipality of Les Gets is organising a free shuttle service between Les Gets and Morzine to make it easier for spectators to get around and to reduce car use.
Les Gets stop: Impasse de Bovard (village entrance on the Morzine side)
Morzine stop: Le Pleney bus stop
- Friday 21 August: from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 19:00 to 22:00
- Saturday 22 August: from 08:00 to 11:00 and from 19:00 to 22:00.
- Sunday 23 August: from 08:00 to 11:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00
Buses run approximately every 30 minutes, subject to traffic conditions.
GetsLib'
The GetsLib’ stations at Place du Marché and Rue de la Forge will be out of service from Sunday 16 August to Monday 24 August inclusive.
The electric bike hire service will remain available throughout the event at the other stations.
