The Tour du Mont-Caly is the ideal route for a stress-free mountain outing. It all starts at the top of the Mont-Chéry cable car. The path rises gently before plunging into a peaceful forest that leads to the Grange de Lachat, nestled among alpine meadows.
The highlight of the walk is the descent to the hamlet of Mont-Caly. With its typical Savoyard chalets and breathtaking views of the Mont-Blanc range, it’s a veritable little paradise on earth. The return journey takes you along an undulating forest track, where you can admire a small artificial lake with turquoise waters. The loop is flexible and can be done in either direction as you wish!

The “Authentic” little extra: Make the most of a stopover in the hamlet of Mont-Caly. There’s a drinking water reservoir where you can fill up your water bottles. It’s the perfect place for a contemplative break or a snack overlooking the snow-covered peaks.
Riding: The route is very accessible on an electric mountain bike, with the power assistance effortlessly erasing the 320m difference in altitude. Be careful on the descent to the hamlet: the path is wide but may be used by hikers. A quick “hello” and a slow pace will ensure that everyone is safe and smiling!
