The Tour du Plateau de Loex is undoubtedly the most exotic route in the area. It starts at the top of the Chavannes chairlift. You soon leave the hustle and bustle behind and enter a mysterious, unspoilt natural environment.
The profile is ideal for electric mountain bikes: with much more downhill than uphill, you glide through spruce forests and high-altitude clearings. The highlight of the ride is the Chapelle de Jacquicourt, nestled in an isolated meadow between Les Gets and Samoëns. It’s a timeless place, perfect for a spiritual or contemplative break. The return to the centre of the resort is gentle, gradually bringing you back to the bustle of the village after this enchanted interlude.

A little extra curiosity: take the time to read the information panels on the local fauna. The plateau is a refuge for rare species. It’s an ideal opportunity to teach children about protecting the mountains.
Riding: The route is mostly downhill, which makes it very accessible. However, be careful on the sections of path that may be a little damp or contain a few stones. Save your batteries for the 220m ascent, so that the whole family can enjoy the climb together!
