The UCI World Cup What is Mountain Bike 2026?

The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup is the 34th edition of this global event. Every year, different resorts around the world welcome more and more visitors. These include some of the most legendary resorts in the history of cycling, such as Fort William (GBR), Lenzerheide (SUI), Val di Sole (IT) and, of course, Les Gets!

Each year, riders compete in different categories, and this summer our beautiful resort is hosting the cross country, cross country short track and DHI (downhill) events. To find out more about the different categories, we refer you to our article: World Cup Disciplines.

For sport

Taking part in the World Cup in Les Gets is first and foremost a sporting experience! It’s THE biggest sporting event of the season: it’s a chance to discover new disciplines and to be thrilled by the speed of some and the falls of others! It’s also a chance to experience some exceptional and historic moments, such as France’s treble at the 2022 World Championships.

Once the sweat session is over, it’s time to share a convivial moment in the streets of Gêt.
