At the heart of this themed area, the magic unfolds at every turn. Children discover an authentic Native American village featuring large, colourful teepees – perfect for a mysterious break between runs. Throughout the season, thrilling treasure hunts, captivating drawing competitions and an unmissable free face-painting workshop allow budding skiers to step into the shoes of their favourite heroes. Immersive scenery, cowboy legends and wild animals dot the route to spark the curiosity of young adventurers.

Groomed slopes to make progress while having fun

The Grand Cry Area has been specially designed to combine technical progression with fun. The area features themed runs with sound effects, laid out in the form of accessible boardercross courses. As they navigate the series of gentle bumps and tackle the banked turns, children develop their balance and agility without even realising it. It’s the ideal environment for building self-confidence whilst having fun on skis.

Visit the Greater Cry Region in the heart of the Chavannes ski slopes

No need to rush to the other end of the resort to have fun! The Territoire du Grand Cry enjoys an ideal and prime location, right next to the top station of the Chavannes cable car. To make the most of it without breaking the bank, the ‘P’tite Glisse’ pass is the perfect option: it offers tailor-made access to the ski lifts in the beginners’ area, ideal for supporting children’s progress at their own pace.
