It’s the ideal route for experienced riders looking to work on their fluidity on lively ground, far from the overly smooth tracks. Technical tip: On La Déjantée, the secret lies in relaxing. “Lighten your bike in the root zones to conserve your inertia. This is an excellent way to practise keeping up speed without having to pedal, using every compression of the terrain. Be careful: in wet weather, the roots become slippery, turning this track into a real test of your riding skills.
