Route description
The Boucle des Alpages is the perfect outing for those who want a change of scenery but don’t necessarily want to be technically challenged. This is a route that focuses on the living environment and heritage of Les Gets.
The route winds through the old mountain pasture hamlets that make up the charm of Mont Chéry. It’s a varied route, with rolling sections on wide paths and a few short restarts to spice things up. The 160-metre ascent is gentle, while the 530-metre descent to the village offers a steady, safe profile. It’s the perfect loop to take along friends or family who are already used to mountain biking.

Photo tip: Don’t put your phone or camera too far away! The passages near the old wooden chalets burnt by the sun, with Mont Blanc in the background, are the best photo spots in the resort.
The “Trajectoire” tip: On this slope, the ground can be a little stony. Even if the path is wide, keep your arms loose to absorb any slight vibrations. And don’t forget: you often share these paths with hikers, so a little bell or a “hello” will keep the Chéry atmosphere going!
