Departing from the arrival point of the gondola lift, this itinerary offers a steady and accessible climb to the summit of Mont Chéry. It’s a perfectly signposted route that offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the ski area.

Route description

A direct and efficient route that winds its way along the top of the massif to take you to the roof of Les Gets.

The start at altitude: The route begins as soon as you get off the Mont Chéry gondola (1,525 m / 1,536 m).
The ascent to Les Balcons: Follow the special path (marked in yellow on the map) that rises above the gondola station. The path climbs steadily through the flats of the massif.
Trail crossings: Remain vigilant, as the route progresses close to the ski area’s pistes. In particular, you’ll skirt the Épervier piste sector and pass under the line of the Pointe chairlift.
The summit : The final stretch takes place under the Pointe chairlift and takes you directly to the summit of Mont Chéry at an altitude of 1,826 metres, facing an exceptional panorama.

At 1,826 metres, the summit of Mont Chéry is the undisputed lookout point for Les Gets. While it is now a paradise for skiers and hikers, it remains a precious alpine pasture. Reaching the summit on foot offers a unique bird’s eye view of the village below and a magical view of the Mont-Blanc chain.
