Route description

A veritable balcony overlooking the Alps, the Montée du Chéry route is a total immersion in the ski touring spirit. Starting from the Chéry snow front, the route quickly moves away from the ski area and into an unspoilt setting.

Progress alternates between forest passages and wide mountain pasture flats, offering a feeling of absolute freedom. The climb requires a steady effort to reach the summit at 1826m. Once at the top, the 360° view is breathtaking: Mont Blanc is revealed in all its splendour, towering above the surrounding peaks.

It’s the ideal route for those looking to get away from it all and enjoy the great outdoors.

Perfect timing: For a memorable experience, opt for an early start. The light of the rising sun on the North Face of Mont-Blanc is a sight you’ll never tire of. Please note: this itinerary is strictly reserved for ascents during the ski area’s opening hours; descents must take place on groomed runs.
