Departing from the hamlet of l’Encrenaz, this route offers total immersion in the wilderness of the northern slopes of Mont Chéry. Far from the hustle and bustle, the route gradually rises through a dense, soothing fir forest, offering a feeling of freedom that is typical of ski touring.

Although the route is steady, it allows you to savour the peace and quiet of an area less busy than the resort centre. The effort is richly rewarded when you reach the ridge, where the panoramic view opens up to the Mont-Blanc massif and the surrounding peaks of the Portes du Soleil. This is the route of choice for skiers in search of authenticity and relaxation.
