The Green Trail An 11km and 550D+ race

If you’re new to mountain running, this discovery trail is for you!

It’s a ten-kilometre run through forests and mountain pastures to admire the view of Mont Blanc from Mont Caly. With gradual climbs and rolling terrain, the route offers a chance to discover the trails of Les Gets without too many difficulties.

The loop starts in the centre of the village and takes you through several small hamlets with pretty chalets to Mont Caly, where a superb panorama of the Mont Blanc range awaits you. After a small refreshment stop, you will make your way through the undergrowth and balconies of Mont Chéry before descending into the forest to return to the village.

FAQ : Trail des Gets 2026 By Rossignol
  • What is the Montée du Chéry?

Opt for a different race format with 4 hours of racing against the clock and pushing yourself to the limit! The Montée du Chéry is 1.9km (uphill) with 380D+ and a gondola descent. If you’re feeling brave, you can do the Montée du Chéry on Saturday, followed by a trail run on Sunday.

  • Are there formats suitable for children?

Yes, children can run in the early years category (from the age of 6). You can find all the race formats here. People under the age of 20 cannot register for the red trail or the blue trail.

  • What is the new red trail route?

This year, discover a new course for those who like to get into the red! No more sticking to just one side of the village: for the 2026 edition, run the length and breadth of Les Gets. Start in the centre, head towards the Chavannes side, then continue along the Mont Chéry side. A route with unique landscapes.

  • Is a medical certificate compulsory?

No. You don’t necessarily need a medical certificate any more: your athletics licence number is all you need. If you don’t have a licence, you can obtain a certificate of fitness in just a few minutes by following the health prevention course available on the athle.fr website.

  • My registration has been marked incomplete. What should I do?

Please note: your registration is not yet complete. Please check that your licence/PPS number has been entered correctly. If the problem persists, the payment for your registration has not been recorded. You can connect to your I-chrono space using the runner code that appears in the registration confirmation email.
