Route description

Starting from the village (1172 m), this signposted route is entirely uphill. The route gradually climbs away from the hustle and bustle of the resort to reach the calm of the Lac des Écoles area.

The route then winds its way through typical Haute-Savoie woodland, offering a hushed, wild atmosphere despite the proximity of the slopes. The effort is rewarded on arrival at the summit of Les Nauchets (1662 m), where a natural viewpoint opens out over the entire ski area of Les Gets and Morzine.

This is the perfect itinerary for those seeking the pleasure of sealskin skiing in complete serenity on a sunny slope.

Photo spotlight: When you reach the summit of Les Nauchets, don’t put your skins away too quickly! Take a few minutes to admire the view of the Chavannes plateau. For maximum safety, always use the marked downhill ski runs and remember that this route is strictly forbidden at night due to cable grooming.
