Yes, our routes are marked with specific orange “E-MTB” signs, in addition to the traditional mountain bike signposting, to ensure that you take trails that are suitable for assistance.

How much time should be allowed for each route?

Times are given as a guide for an average walking pace with assistance: Mont Caly (Green): Allow around 1h to 1h30. This is the ideal format for an introduction or a contemplative stroll at the end of the day. Col du Ranfoilly (Blue): Allow between 2h and 2h30. A great route for a half-day of exploration in the Chavannes sector. Tour du Mont-Chéry (Red): Allow around 1h30 to 2h. A more nervous and technical route that requires good effort management. Plateau de Loex (Red): Allow 2h to 2h30 to take full advantage of the wild immersion in this unspoilt area.

Can the battery be recharged en route?

Several high-altitude restaurants are equipped with kiosks. Take advantage of a “Montagne Chic” stopover to recharge your bike.

Can you do these routes with a conventional mountain bike?

This is possible for the most athletic riders, but beware: E-MTB routes sometimes include steeper or longer climbs than traditional mountain bike routes, because they are designed to be negotiated with the help of the engine.
