Located right next to the arrival of the Chavannes gondola, the Freeride du Canyon is a special area within the Bikepark. Far from machine-smoothed tracks, this area offers several routes through the woods, highlighting the natural character of the terrain.

It’s a real playground for lovers of technical riding: the ground is a complex sequence of pebbles, natural steps and protruding roots. The relief of the canyon offers steep sections where trajectory reading is essential. There are no massive artificial modules here, but a multitude of possible lines that require great agility and excellent control of balance to clear the obstacles without losing speed.

Old School” tips: In the Canyon, your best ally is to relax. Don’t suffer the terrain, let the bike work under you. It’s the ideal place to test the precision of your suspension and your ability to improvise. Warning: in wet weather, the roots of the Canyon become a real technical challenge; make sure you have tyres that are suitable for wet conditions!
